The Baked Studio Wholesale Returns Policy

This Returns Policy applies to all wholesale (B2B) transactions with The Baked Studio. By placing a wholesale order, you agree to the terms below.

1. No Returns on Unwanted Goods

As we supply on a business-to-business (B2B) basis, we do not accept returns or exchanges for unwanted, incorrectly ordered, or overstocked items. Please check your order carefully before confirming.

2. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Goods

  • If you believe products are damaged, faulty, or incorrect, you must notify us in writing within 7 days of delivery.

  • You may be asked to provide photographic evidence and/or return the goods for inspection.

  • If a fault is confirmed, we will at our discretion:

    • Replace the goods, or

    • Issue a credit note/refund.

3. Reporting Timeframes

  • Claims for shortages, damages, or incorrect items must be made within 7 days of delivery.

  • Claims made outside this legal timeframe cannot be accepted.

4. Condition of Returned Goods

Where goods are requested to be returned for inspection:

  • They must be returned in their original packaging and in an unused condition (unless faulty).

  • We may refuse returns that do not meet these requirements.

5. Exempt Items

For hygiene and food safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of any edible products (e.g., edible colours, dusts, sprinkles, glitters), unless they are faulty or incorrect.

6. Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied.

  • We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost sales or production delays.

7. Legal Compliance

This policy is in line with UK legislation governing business-to-business sales, including the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) and the Business Protection from Misleading Marketing Regulations 2008. Unlike consumer sales, B2B transactions are not covered by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (no automatic right to cancel/return).
